About this event
This July we welcome the Queer Pleasure Archive to Baltic Library, taking a fresh look at the library collection through a queer lens and making interventions that celebrate queer creativity, history and experience. Join an event led by Sarah Li to open-up the Queer Pleasure Archive with creative activities, growing the archive into a new printed publication.
This event is led by and designed for members of the queer community. Allies are also welcome. Suitable for ages 16+. If you are unable to attend we are unfortunately unable to refund your ticket.
Queer Pleasure Archive: Performative-Self-Portraits (Part 1) Baltic Library becomes a Queer photo studio with costume and prop styling by Sarah Li and photography by Emma Bentley Fox.
Attendees to this workshop must also be able to attend the second session on 25 July.
Queer Pleasure Archive: Photo-Embroidery (Part 2) Combine printed photographs with thread to create a uniquely embellished and tactile self-portrait with Sarah Li.
Attendees to this workshop must also attend the first session on 11 July.
